VIRGINIA RIGHT BLOG ENDORSES DELEGATE CHRIS PEACE for REELECTION!

I (Sandy) have known Del. Chris Peace for sometime.  In fact, even when I was not in his district, I was impressed with him very much.

Delegate Peace has become a leader in the House of Delegates.  He had a regular column in the Times-Dispatch.  He is a movement conservative and generally votes right.  He of course voted again the Governor’s tax plan.  I have discussed judges and legislation with Delegate Peace and although he does not always agree with me,  he has always been straight with me.

Delegate Peace also has a life outside of politics:  He’s the Executive Director of the Historic Polegreen Church Foundation and under his leadership the Polegreen Church site has become a site worthy of a visit by all Hanoverians.  Lots of information on religious liberty, Reverend Davies (one of the first licensed pastors not from the Church of England in colonial Virginia) and the origins of Patrick Henry and his forensic skills can be seen and experienced at the site.  (BTW, when Hanover Nazarene Church wanted to host their National Day of Prayer at Polegreen Church, Del. Peace was immediately warm to the idea and has never charged us a dime for use of the site.  Yes, I help with this project.  Today, after five years, it’s a community gift by Hanover Nazarene to the community.  It’s up again this year – Thursday May 2, 2013 at 530PM.  Come out.  Of course at the Historic Polegreen Church!)

So, since there are rumors of a challenger for Delegate Chris Peace, I spoke with Tom White tonight and we decided the blog should ENDORSE Delegate Chris Peace in the 97th District. I invite Tom White to fill in other things about Delegate Peace.
